1
Pour 1 gallon white vinegar into bucket...
Household 5% white vinegar works well as an organic weed control option. Higher concentrations, such as 10-20% not necessary. Weeds will die in two to three additional days at 5% concentration.
2
Add 1 cup table salt...
Stir solution with a long-handled spoon until salt dissolves completely.
3
Stir in 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap...
This will act as a surfactant and make vinegar and salt solution adhere to weeds more efficiently. Blend thoroughly.
4
Funnel concoction into handheld weed applicator.
Apply applicator directly onto weeds.
Best results will be accomplished on a dry, sunny day. Coat all surfaces well. Plants soaked with this solution will die within several days. Funnel remaining weed control liquid into an empty plastic container. Cap tightly. Label clearly, and store in a cool, dark place indefinitely.
